Yeah, that is bs. As far as I can see, looking at my stats, it doesn't count my AI games, only my online games, so wtf do we have to connect to play bots when the stats don't even count and you aren't using the Bnet match up function?

They need to make AI available offline, if your line goes down, you will want to fight against AI while you can't fight against humans, obviously. Also of you run out of MB's.. My estimated usage stats are useless, you don't know when you are going to be out of data until you are out. It sends me an sms when I have 3mb left, by the time I get the sms, those 3 mb's are gone. If this happens at 18:30, I will have to wait till the next day when I buy more data just to play against the AI?

This might not be a problem in other countries, but seriously, their lines never go down? They all have uncapped internet which just works all the time?
 
The good news is my wife baught this game for me for my birthday :)

The bad news is my birthday is on Sunday and she won't let me play it till then :(

But with all the registration problems people have been having it might be a blessing

I played earlier, about 6:30-7:30, then spent some time with the wife watching the tube. Probably only be back on tommorrow if then, going to House & Garden show tonight and my Boets down with all the biltong :p Hoping about 20Kgs :D
 
Got my copy last night as well, DSL was down, used GPRS to download the patch, (You read that right.)

So obviously didnt want to spoil my first multi experience by sing a NIC-on-a-stick but rather my nice and awesome 4Mb uncapped monster, when it wakes up.

How is the latency so far? Is it a lagfest? Be honest.

Played with 384k afrihost uncapped & shaped last night. Didn`t notice a lag.... but it could be that my brain was starting to lag after 1am
 
My online experience is going quite well so far.. Played 4 1v1 games two with terran and two protoss, won all four :-D played a 2v2 and won as well. I really like the feel of this game, even the campaign is epic so far. Game of the year, definitely gonna love this online experience and playing tournaments is going to own...
 
Noticed now that Kalahari's delivery time moved from "24 hours" to "Usually within 8 days". Guess they've sold out...

I was expecting to pay R529.95, but the lady at the counter said it was on promotion, so I didn't argue. They have more in stock for those that want.

To the guys worried about offline play, there is a kinda lame workaround: You have to be online, setup an Ai game and once in the game, save. Now you can turn off your internet and keep playing or quit the game. When you start again, you can load your game without being connected.
 
Just watched the launch trailer for Starcraft 2... Its insane. My copy should arrive on Friday olnly! Pulling my hair out of my head.
