They really did overcharge you the recommended retail price of R529.00 , you could have bought it for much cheaper at other places. ;)
 
anyone have problems registering a blizzard account to access the game?

keep getting a apache server error:(

(HTTP Status 500 error)

my boet is getting this error, checked other forums and nothing as yet, and he has sent an email to blizzard already, but just checking anyone else getting this problem?
 
i cant even create a blizzard account yet. some server error.

so have not been able to get to the validation step yet:(
 
Ok, so I got mine :D

Thought it wasn't delivered, but then remembered that the security downstairs changed, so I went down and there was my package.
 
I have four copies of the game activated on my account, 3 are frozen and one is active, this was because it kept failing every time I tried to acrivate the game.

I cant login to the game using my battle.net login, this is ridiculous, what a epic fail from blizzard.

I tried calling there US support but I have to wait 35 minutes or something stupid like that.

This has totally spoilt my evening I hate everyone who has a working game.

iam freaking mad

i tried to pre-order starcraft 2 CE from btgames in Durban first and i was told that all there pre-orders has already been ordered so i went to look and listen after phoning them and a lady telling me that every branch should get about 10 then i phoned them and they said i should come in and book my order so i went to the pavilion and booked my pre-order on the 28 June 2010 with R150 thinking that now i had pre-ordered that i had secured my copy so i didn't worry about it again waiting in huge anticipation for the release date only to receive an sms from them at 22:05 on the 26 July saying

Evening sorry to inform you that you starcraft 2 SP ED has not arrived on time. we apologize for the inconvenience will contact you tomorrow am

so i thought ok maybe its just late

just coming off night shift i went to bed and woke in the afternoon to yet another sms 14:59 27 July saying

dear customer we are unable to fulfill you starcraft special edition order. please redeem your deposit kind regards look and listen pavilion

then i went to the phone to call them and see wtf they were on about and then they told me something to the effect that there was problems with the supplier and that they did not receive any copies at all and only branches in Johannesburg had received copies.

are they really expecting me to believe that they did not know that there was problems why could they not just call all the people that made the pre-orders and tell them that they could not deliver because of there supplier problems and at least let the people try and order from somewhere else, all this time i thought i had my copy secured and that i would get it, and its a "collectors edition ie limited edition" so I'm sitting here and i have no idea if they will make or release more copies, i don't have what i wanted and i don't know if i ever will be able to get a copy.

i don't know what to do
 
Im sure that the Blizzard servers are crashing due to half the world trying to register the game at the same time. LOL

I just ordered my copy... been waiting about 12 years for this game so can wait a while longer.
 
The Character graphics in the Single player campaign are pretty much the best I've ever seen. What do you guys think?
 
Played the first 6 campaigns last night...really awesome! Then played 6 online 1v1's (4wins / 2losses) I haven't played the beta, so it kinda hard at fist to determine what the heck the new units are doing so I'll play my full 50 "trail ladder" games before starting playing ranking games :)

That sounds like a good idea.

Was pretty good. Actually awesome.
 
really enjoying this game. Only played 5 or so missions but i dig how they've given you options. Not just mission after mission after mission. You can speak to people, hear storys, see whats actually going on. Upgrades etc. Feels like you are actually developing your character. Much better than most RTS single players

ok, sorted this one out, the H at the start of the key looked like an A, hope this helps some poor soul
 
So far this game is awesome, must say im really enjoying it. I had no problems installing and activating it, just remember we got the eu version of the game so go to eu.battle.net, not the us one.
 
informs guys I knocked the power out plugging my phone in to charge during the patch update.

Good news guys. It starts off from where it got interrupted.
 
Played 23 games online yesterday - I'm at the top of my division in the silver league, lol.
