The other day, there was an article by Jonathan Jansen where he mentioned (and I am paraphrasing) that certain people keep on promoting exceptionally stupid candidates so that their own position remains safe. This looks one of them.
But Motsoeneng told Zondo that he had been headhunted by an Alwyn Kloppers who was in charge of current affairs and news at the time.

Motsoeneng was first recommended for employment at the SABC by Alwyn Kloppers, now regional resources manager of SABC news. They met in 1995, when Motsoeneng was a freelance journalist in the Free State.

Stupid/Unqualified candidates are easier to control, it's something Zuma seems to be good at -if you give someone with no talent and no qualifications a high powered job and then make it known that they depend on you for their continued lifestyle it certainly creates a certain type of loyalty (based on self-interest).

Wits is being evasive. It is clear that they have invited him to provide the students with guidance (or educational talk). That is lecturing, it is a knowledge medium.

Quoting the snip as posted by Excalibur,

"Leadership is about having a vision and working towards it no matter what comes your way. People say I've got an agenda, of course I do. I have a good agenda for the SABC and the country at large and I’m not apologetic about that. It's okay for people to criticise me, I understand that not everyone is going to believe in me and that is what motivates me," said Mr. Motsoeneng in his address.

Questions flooded from the communications professionals, they wanted to know almost everything about him, both professionally and personally. He held nothing back; he shared with them everything that they wanted to know, from his childhood, family, what drives him, to his leadership style.

Senior Lecturer, Mr koffi Kouakou commended Hlaudi for his enthusiasm, passion and frankness "he encouraged our students to not just rely on the theory but to translate theory into practise so that they can be able to face challenges that rise from the corporate world. I also admire that he went all out, he gave the students all his time and was able to engage them both intellectually and socially." He was accompanied by the Chief Financial Officer, Mr James Aguma; the GE: Corporate Affairs, Ms Sully Motsweni, and SABC Consultant, Mr Anton Heunis.

not sure on the standards though, and the article is posted by the SABC. I tried to dig into the Wits WSG events history, but don't have the time to dig that deep now.

It is true, I even saw photos of him lecturing, it was in the media as well.

Looks like he was part of a panel discussion so was a speaker not lecturer and he's lying about his contributions to their syllabus.
“Hlaudi Motsoeneng was invited to take part in a breakfast panel discussion at WBS on 6 December 2013. A guest speaker does not make an academic. At no stage has Mr Motsoeneng lectured at WBS, nor has any material authored by him formed part of the curriculum of any of our programmes,” the School also tweeted.

But what if he really felt like he was lecturing? Although the bit about his teachings being incorporated into the curriculum could be a problem.

True story. I visited cambridge once and I talked. Did I lecture at cambridge? I have goosebumps just thinking about it.

With respect, we should not compare ourselves to Hlaudi. There’s a reason that you've never had a song in your praise aired on Morning Live.

Yeah, a problem for every other business school cause who wouldn’t want to learn from the master?

What he feels is irrelevant... The facts matter and he was not lecturing... He was a guest speaker in a panel and he has now perjured himself whilst under oath

To perjure yourself requires a sound mind. It has been clear for some time that he is a delusional fantasist, and incapable of distinguishing truth and reality. The judge will just say the witness has zero credibility...

Well, that would simply add to the evidence of him being a cretin.

Just like you are adding to the evidence of...

Why was he even invited to be a guest speaker in the first place? What was being discussed and who at WBS thought Hlaudi would add value to any discussion?

That's an awesome defence for perjury.

"I shouldn't have been invited; but I attended; and that's why I committed perjury at the Zondo commission"

Good point... It's obvious hlaudi is mentally deranged in many ways...
