State capture inquiry begins

Isn't he getting his wires crossed, the only time I remember him addressing students which will of course look like lecturing to him he was at Regenyses.
It is very painful to listen. Was this clown gupta's gift to the nation?

As much as we don't want to hear it, she is 100% right.

I don't want the NPA to duff this because of poor evidence. If it goes to court it must be an open and close case and people need to end up in jail.
Plus the looters out of there will appeal all the way up to concourt and will do everything in their power to ensure the cases don't see the light of day before that even gets off the ground.

Is our law enforcement that dumb and blind that they can't see the glaring evidence of organised crime and corruption that they need an inquiry to expose it.

WTF haven't these thieving goons been investigated, prosecuted and jailed.
Because law enforcement doesn't have the capacity nor the will.

The NPA says many of the Zondo commission cases aren't ready for court, ....... what about the rest?

This inquiry is bring a lot of this to the attention of the man in the street, so most certainly a very good thing, but I'd expect law enforcement to have the capabilities of investigating these crimes without the need for this inquiry, and there's got to be a **** load of cases that don't need much investigation.

Wits Business School, I know someone who attended one of his lectures.

Probably both, but more so the lack of will.
You can have all the will you want but going to court with half baked cases is a waste of time, I would imagine that Shaun the Sheep and other did their best to mess the house up before they left.

Taking the likes of Gumede and others to court shows that there will is there.

What's the expectation from the Zondo Commission, when it eventually concludes we'll have a list of the cretins it deems to be guilty of crimes, and this will trigger law enforcement to spring into action using the evidence that's current available, ..........something they've demonstrated they're incapable of, which investigative journos are.

The other day, there was an article by Jonathan Jansen where he mentioned (and I am paraphrasing) that certain people keep on promoting exceptionally stupid candidates so that their own position remains safe. This looks one of them.
But Motsoeneng told Zondo that he had been headhunted by an Alwyn Kloppers who was in charge of current affairs and news at the time.

Motsoeneng was first recommended for employment at the SABC by Alwyn Kloppers, now regional resources manager of SABC news. They met in 1995, when Motsoeneng was a freelance journalist in the Free State.

Stupid/Unqualified candidates are easier to control, it's something Zuma seems to be good at -if you give someone with no talent and no qualifications a high powered job and then make it known that they depend on you for their continued lifestyle it certainly creates a certain type of loyalty (based on self-interest).

Wits is being evasive. It is clear that they have invited him to provide the students with guidance (or educational talk). That is lecturing, it is a knowledge medium.

Quoting the snip as posted by Excalibur,

"Leadership is about having a vision and working towards it no matter what comes your way. People say I've got an agenda, of course I do. I have a good agenda for the SABC and the country at large and I’m not apologetic about that. It's okay for people to criticise me, I understand that not everyone is going to believe in me and that is what motivates me," said Mr. Motsoeneng in his address.

Questions flooded from the communications professionals, they wanted to know almost everything about him, both professionally and personally. He held nothing back; he shared with them everything that they wanted to know, from his childhood, family, what drives him, to his leadership style.

Senior Lecturer, Mr koffi Kouakou commended Hlaudi for his enthusiasm, passion and frankness "he encouraged our students to not just rely on the theory but to translate theory into practise so that they can be able to face challenges that rise from the corporate world. I also admire that he went all out, he gave the students all his time and was able to engage them both intellectually and socially." He was accompanied by the Chief Financial Officer, Mr James Aguma; the GE: Corporate Affairs, Ms Sully Motsweni, and SABC Consultant, Mr Anton Heunis.

not sure on the standards though, and the article is posted by the SABC. I tried to dig into the Wits WSG events history, but don't have the time to dig that deep now.
