"Leadership is about having a vision and working towards it no matter what comes your way. People say I've got an agenda, of course I do. I have a good agenda for the SABC and the country at large and I’m not apologetic about that. It's okay for people to criticise me, I understand that not everyone is going to believe in me and that is what motivates me," said Mr. Motsoeneng in his address.
Questions flooded from the communications professionals, they wanted to know almost everything about him, both professionally and personally. He held nothing back; he shared with them everything that they wanted to know, from his childhood, family, what drives him, to his leadership style.
Senior Lecturer, Mr koffi Kouakou commended Hlaudi for his enthusiasm, passion and frankness "he encouraged our students to not just rely on the theory but to translate theory into practise so that they can be able to face challenges that rise from the corporate world. I also admire that he went all out, he gave the students all his time and was able to engage them both intellectually and socially." He was accompanied by the Chief Financial Officer, Mr James Aguma; the GE: Corporate Affairs, Ms Sully Motsweni, and SABC Consultant, Mr Anton Heunis.
