Static IP + Unrestricted APN + Router with IP Passthrough

As per the topic, has anyone managed to achieve this with one of our cellco's?

I need to connect a device to the internet with the ISP assigned routable IP on one if its interfaces (IP Passthrough I think?).

Look for DMZ on the LTE router menu. Static IP of your router on the LAN, YES. It is how it is done.

Public IP needs to be assigned to eth0.

Yes, it's a business sollution, costs about R4000+ a month, static IP and uncapped, contact Vodacom Business

Why not get hold of a Mikrotik LTE router, 1:1 NAT the public IP to the local IP?

The problem is that with all of them the uplink is firewalled. I have a solution that will allow a static via an SDWAN solution with both uplink and downlink. Solution allows up to three separate carriers.
Then some fancy footwork to stop the hackers eating bandwidth.

Mikrotik LTE NAT 1:1
Unrestricted APN (free) from the telco

That's what we do.

1:1 NAT is still NAT, not a public IP on a interface....

Like I said, contact Vodacom Business, tell them you need a business solution with one (or how many you need) public IP's that you can assign to whatever device you like.
