Hi
So the 64gb Steam Deck is currently on sale at Incredible Connection for R7999.
Considering getting this and then initially adding a 1tb sd card and possibly a 512gb SSD upgrade to replace the 64gb mmc card.
Is this good idea?

For me the SD is a little too big and seems to hurt my hands and make them numb after about an hour of gaming in bed. However, sitting up on the couch yielded a much better experience.

At some point I went in for a big back operation, so I kitted out the house in preparation. One of the things I bought is a tablet holder, it has a clamp that connects to whatever with a bendy arm and then adjustable clips on the other side to place items into.

It can hold for example tablets, phones, e-readers etc., but I've used it with my Switch as well. It should work great with a Steam Deck too, that way you're not the one carrying the weight.

Bit the bullet on Friday and bought the 64gb from Makro.

Thoroughly impresses so far. Got a 1TB SD card. Have played some Super Mega Baseball 3, Hades and Fallout 4. Got the Epic Store installer working and installed Darkest Dungeon 2 from there, but have not played yet.

Working in desktop mode with a mouse, keyboard and external monitor for all the install stuff and then playing on the console only.
