Steam Installs Time Out on Afrihost

Hey,

Ever since this weekend (22 October 2016) I am unable to install any Steam game. My friend on Afrihost has the same problem. My other friend that is not on Afrihost is having no trouble at all.

Does anyone know anything about that?

Try changing the download region and see if that helps.

DNS issue, change it to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Thanks, you are right it was a DNS issue. Google DNS works, Afrihost seems unaware of the fact. They are in contact with me now to try and resolve this.

They said they will call me back... obviously they didn't, however it seems to be working again.
