Steers vs Burger King

Since all the Steers in our area have gone Halaal and chosen to omit many popular items off their menu like the Hero Steak Roll, Ribs and Chops, it left us with just the King Steers Burger which used to be OK. Unfortunately even the King Steer Burger from the local outlet has been cold on the last 3 occasions. On a positive note the chips were hot and still of the same quality as before.

Since our last cold and pretty tasteless Burger last year we haven't been back.

I think if you had to try an out of Town Steers like Malmesbury or Melkbos you may have an altogether better experience, but here locally these Steers are a waste of money.

why would they remove the Hero steak because they halaal thats stupid, ribs and chops too (ok no pork) but good old beef is fine?
all the halaal steers I go to have the hero Steak (and similar)- go complain to Steers head office - its halaal not non beef
 
norwood BK is not like the others Ive been to,
Complained and got a free meal,

so at least they do listen to the customers....

best so far is rosebank BK

anybody know anything about the BK inside the sasol on Boeing RD in Bedfordview?
looks really small, no machine for sodas, and only 4 tables inside....

maybe I might give it a go, might be nice..... steers beef sometimes isnt cooked properly...
at least with chicken you can see it red, with beef sometimes hard to tell...
 
steers has become disgusting. that crappy patty. sies. BK over steers any day. not sure what happened to steers but they need to undo the last 3 or so years I think.

wimpy and steers are definitely not what they used to be, actually many of the local fast food places arent what they supposed to be...
you name is they all terrible, steers,spur,nandos

the ones setting up shop in SA are much better than their overseas compatriots,
BK in the UK isnt what its like here,

maybe its a bait and switch tactic,
get people hooked on their food then downgrade later on once people are addicted?

kind of like a drug dealer :p
 
Never been to steers again since getting a tampon string in my burger, for that reason, I'm out.

impossible, that is just impossible...
I mean they go through all those checks before making food, and wear thse hats and everything,

did you at least get a refund?
 
Steers... Yeah, I drive right by two or three of those on my way to the highway to do the extra ten or twenty kilometers I'd rather do to get to a Burger King, than stop at a Steers.
