Steers vs Burger King

did you at least get a refund?

Yeah was an unusual complaint as no words were exchanged during the complaint. I put everything on the counter, including the R46 till slip, and the empty fries packet. I didn't say a word. I held up the tampon string. She looked at me. Then at it. She opened the till, handed me a R50 note. Then apologised. I left having never said a word.

does BK allow custom burgers like MCD?
been thinking Id like the same as the fierce whopper but chicken for one family member that cant eat beef....

I'd ask. Don't ask you don't get and its not like it's CERN, it's a BK.

I'm so conflicted by this thread right now... Been thinking about a delicious Whopper all day but Milano's story arc has me reconsidering my consumption of any food again...

Im sure a bit of it is embellishment, I mean where was it, inside the food? did you pull it out your mouth?
if that happened to me Id write 20 stories on hellppeter and demand a refund...

but food is food, these things can happen anywhere...

Steers... Yeah, I drive right by two or three of those on my way to the highway to do the extra ten or twenty kilometers I'd rather do to get to a Burger King, than stop at a Steers.

PS. Fierce Whopper... Nom Nom Nom.

I've heard about it. Must have soon then.

Wtf, so the King Steer burger is now R56 for the normal version. Bought one at Canal Walk, and either due to the burger or co-incidentally I think I've come down with food poisoning or a stomach bug

Back to burger king i go then...

2am edit: Was feeling like I wanted to hurl the last 30 minutes or so and now I just did. On the plus side I do feel better now.

3 June update: I think it was the chicken I ate 30 hours before.

It's been R56 for a long time now hasn't it?

I haven't bought there in ages, maybe last year was the last time. In any event, that R56 half digested burger fought its way out of my stomach and through my throat 5 minutes ago

Eish. Not lekker. Take it back to them!!! :D

I'll take a pic, will be too difficult to collect since half of it is down the drain :(

Wondering if this will put me off fast food for a while...

Last night, 30 hours ago, I did eat a cooked chicken breast that was sitting in the fridge for a few days. Doubt that would be the cause of me hurling chunks now :erm:

Edit: I reckon it was the chicken :(

Hmmm. Ja. If the Steers owner is honest he will know of more people who got sick.

McDonald's over burger king.
Steers over McDonald's.

With steers, not all stores are equal, you have to find a good one. The sandton city steers has been the worst for at least 9 years.

Other than the Steers Sandton reference, nothing in this post computes.
