Stop Sign Traffic Fine

After I got R800 ticket for yielding at a stop sign, I now stop complete at the stop sign. Other drivers behind me don't like that most drivers jump stop sign when the is no traffic.

I have been driving for about 16 months now I think most accidents happen at 4 way stop and using cellphone while driving.

I have never seen an accident at a 4-way stop.

In fact I have no idea how it would happen never mind even being the most frequent.

Only thing I can think is that a completely unmarked car, like a private vehicle can't be used to fine or arrest someone.

However the Ghost Squad cars aren't unmarked but in camouflage.

Ergo, when they pull you off they will have the blue lights on and be in uniform, so it's quite apparent they are police force.

The discussion was about unmarked patrol vehicles, not roadblocks.

But didn't the Carte Blanche article cover unmarked patrol vehicles as well?

I have seen few people don't stop and others just drive when they know the are the last to arrive. People are impatient on the road.

Most cars have bluethooth why don't people use that to answer calls. Whatsapp can wait or just park on the side if you want to whatsapp maybe you need directions.
