Stop Sign Traffic Fine

Yep and they have few new cars also.

New lexus es250ex model I saw the other day, pulled over a corsa OPC.

Also heard rumors about bmw 328I msport unbadged, with tinted windows and a spoiler. It fits "in" with the racers and then they get caught.

100% sure about the ES? I know about the IS(350) not the ES. The ES is kind of a luxury barge & that N/A 2.5 is not particularly fast.

Could not see exact model, but it was newish lexus sedan.

Did see the lights in his front grill.

Ok. I'm pretty sure it's just the IS. I stand to be corrected. They ordered a stack of IS350 models a few months back. If anyone has another sauce feel free to advise.

Wow. Haven't seen anyone come to a complete stop at a stop sign in years (unless there is traffic obviously). Last time I saw anyone fined for this was in the late 80's. But this is KZN :D

I do ever since I was almost pulled over for that.

Yeah they are all IS models.

And stupidly all have number plates in the same range so very easy to spot.

Reminds me of the afrikaans cop who stopped someone and told them... 'The sign says S-T-O-P not P-A-W-S'

Why? there have been unmarked cars in use for decades.

Unless you can point to legislation that forbids it?
Was sure it has to be a marked car, visibility and all. Then I could be wrong. I know they've been putting up illegal speed cameras for decades so it wouldn't surprise me.

I can't think of anything that would prohibit it, perhaps you're confusing it with something else.

^^Carte Blanche ran a docu on that recently. It seems the law is at odds with itself. There are two laws that contradict each other on the matter...

After I got R800 ticket for yielding at a stop sign, I now stop complete at the stop sign. Other drivers behind me don't like that most drivers jump stop sign when the is no traffic.

I have been driving for about 16 months now I think most accidents happen at 4 way stop and using cellphone while driving.

The discussion was about unmarked patrol vehicles, not roadblocks.

Got nothing to do with unmarked vehicles.
