Hi, my sons Reddragon Perdition mouse suddenly wont track on his mousepad , he has been using both for a couple of months without any issues. Suddenly yesterday it won’t track on the mousepad but works fine on practically any other surface (including the back of the mousepad), anyone else experienced this or have any ideas? He has tried a different mousepad with the same issue.

Not that I am aware of, but nothing is impossible. Would the polish then attach to the sensor? He has tried a different mousepad which has been in the cupboard for months so unlikely both have been "cleaned" recently.

That is very weird.
Have you tried using a different mouse on the Redragon mouse pad? If the mouse works on almost any other surface then it might be the mousepads surface that interferes with the sensor. But haven't really heard of it before.

Also, you can throw the mousepad in the washer and just clean it and see if that helps. Just read up before if you are able to do that with the mousepad, but should be fine.

The one time this happened to me the sensor was dirty. This put the sensor right on the edge of working and it became very fussy about the surface. Cleaning it solved the problem.
