Stranger Things - Netflix Original series

Wow. Just watched it finished. Just as gripping as the first season, but I felt it was a bit all over the place. Much less focused than season 1.

Good decision to expand the narrative.

I was quite impressed by the Billy/Max narrative. The actor who plays Billy was recently in Power Rangers so he played his character very well. Dad/son issues was one of the highlights of this season.

But great season, I liked the first season a little more but this was also very good. Wonder if we will see a Season 3

I think season 3 will tie in with that whole arc

S2 is arguable as good as S1. Pace, setting, tone, homage to other films, soundtrack everything on point, all in all a highly entertaining great watch. Worth the wait.

All the kids were just great.

The expectation for S3 now is at an all-time high.

What I like about the 80s feel of the show, is that they don't overwhelm you with it. It's always in the background, they don't go out of their way to make you reminisce about the 80s.

Everything is spot on. Background, like cars etc all period correct.
 
Tarentino font used in episode 6, I thought that was cool
 
I read somewhere that they should have swapped episode 6 around with episode 7. Have the filler first and end it with 11's vision, then have episode 6 and show how it came to be.
 
On the whole I thought the whole season was very good. However I think that gang of misfits thing was a bit of a cheap attempt to put some "diversity" into the series.

I feel the other way around. Great work on scenes and characters, but the story could have used a few more surprises/angles.
 
Enjoyed season 2 immensely! I can't remember if this whole 'Upside Down/Underground Hive' thing is alien based or a scientific project/experiment gone horribly wrong but that doesn't detract from the series for me.

Looks like these guys were messing with genetic engineering/ESP/mind power and all sorts off weird stuff, and then it went sideways.
