They gonna charge us tax everytime we flush toilet to pay for it just now
We already do actually, or haven't you read the ethekweni water letter about excessive sewage use?
Believe me .... we want them to get free condoms ... we don't want these types to breed!
Captain Hook: "No, child, Your mother wants to read to you every night in order to stupefy to sleep, so that she and daddy could sit down for three measly minutes without you. And you mindless, inexhaustible, unstoppable, repetitive, and nagging demands: He took my toy! She hit my bear! I want a potty! I want a cookie! I want to stay up! I want, I want, I want, me, me, me, me, mine, mine, mine, mine, now, now, now, now! "
Well don't see anything wrong. The people demand it, you must supply it!

They are the ones that pay these teachers and built these schools, they have a right to demand whatever they deem necessary. These universities are rich, they CAN afford to give condoms and sanitary pads and they damn well can afford to give scholarships.
So I say listen to the "village leader" have a conference somewhere and discuss. We at very least need to provide condoms asap, that alone can save people from STD's and unwanted pregnancies.
so,
they demand free education, the university must supply it. right?
they demand a house , the university must supply it. right?
they demand "no exam", the university must supply it. right?
they demand a boy friend / a girl friend to assign for each student as sex slave, the university must supply it. right?
I can carry on.......
I am telling you, I demand "to scrap anc", who must "supply" it to me?
I only demand "a safer place a live", who must "supply" it to me?
can you see "what's wrong"?
Dude, condoms are provided, they are just a cheaper brand. Also some universities may be rich but DUT is not one of them - i know because I used to work there. Also scholarships are provided for BTech and higher levels of study. In addition IIRC on news24 last week, there was a article about how students are not applying for the funding allocated by the government.
Maybe its just me, but I think VioAdmin's post was 2/3rds sarcasm. He hit the nail on the head though; students are treating universities as though they are a resort where lectures are an added bonus.
Its good to see students ask for condoms. The cost of HIV/AIDS anti retrovirals are a lot more than a condom. Also, if this helps our population growth issues out, Im all for it˙
