Studying at CTI

Search for thread "Why you should not go to CTI"

Run far, run fast. Don't waste your time and money.

Any other college or university that offers a similar course part-time?

If you want part-time.. then do it directly through UNISA...

But I don't really like all the modules offered in the UNISA diploma as I'm looking for something more in programming only

Then do some c# certificates from MS or something. Will work out significantly cheaper and end up being worth more than something from CTI.

Then just do as Messugga said..... avoid any of these private colleges with "higher certificates" whatever the fek that means.

I studied at CTI - Cape Town in 2008.
Oh how I wish I could turn back time and not go there!

N.Dip. is mostly programming only. B.Sc. will have electives.

This. When I did it it was basically split up into two programming subjects, databases and information systems which included Cisco/networking (all with clever names but basically that).

And for the love of your career don't go to CTI. Nobody should ever go to CTI.

also did CTI in 2000....It's a money making racket and a time waster. Same as everyone else said.
Get the idea out of your head asap.
Go do a degree. Thee end

EDIT: sometimes I drive past the CTI branch in Bellville/Durbanville and watch all the hopefulls walking with those CTI bags, smiles on their faces...not knowing how they're wasting daddy's money and their own time.
