Hi Folks, I could use some laptop advice.
My current laptop is a 17inch Dell Vostro 3750
Core i5 2.4 Ghz
16 GB RAM (upgraded from 8mb)
512 GB SSD drive (replaced the 750GB HDD)
Nvidia Optimus (GeForce GT 525m + Intel HD Graphics 3000)
My biggest two issues with it right now are a) portability (17inch laptop isn't great for moving around a lot, which I do now and b) battery life (currently 2 hours tops)
So I am looking for recommendations for laptop with similar specs in terms of CPU, SSD and RAM and GPU (although the Optimus setup definitely inst a requirement), but with a 15 inch screen with much better battery life (4 - 8 hours if possible) for under 20k. I do like Dell products, as their after sales support is amazing, but I am open to suggestions.
I stay in Durbanville Cape Town so I prefer to use local online retailers (Wootware, Raru etc). It just makes returns that much easier.
Any advice/suggestions greatly appreciated.
