It is pricey but better quality than most of the stuff available. It also has surge protection.

This is just a standard multi plug which is re branded made in China stuff. Huntkey and quality don't usually go in the same sentence.

Yes, had an update, pricing very promising, the problem is stock. The supplier stop bringing that product in (he say) and that he still have stock (few) and he will confirm the number later today when he visit his warehouse.

I've told him maybe I should just send my tech, collect all remaining stock, and then we can take it from there.
(He think there is 6-8 left) (R25 or something)

I paid R199 for the the Ellies surge protected strip multi-plug. It comes with the Ellies Wonder Plug built-in that can set you back R150.

Quick update:

Managed to find these ones from Takealot (Linkqnet 10-way) at R166 each, that seem to be well spaced/angled and suit my needs now - a bonus is they have individual power switches for each bank of sockets.

Bought two of them and mounted horizontally side-by-side under my PC worktop - am using all 4 of 3-pin sockets, with the 2-pin "brick" power supplies plugged into each end-point 2-pin sockets (also using the schuko socket as a normal 2-pin), whilst having the middle three 2-pins taking the normal 2-pin non-brick plugs.

Will take some pics over the weekend so you can see how they fit

It still baffles my brain that every single one of these things you find in common shops basically doesn't allow to plug in anything but normal plugs next to each other.

Ain't that the truth! It's like they're designed by people that have no clue how plugs should fit together on a strip! One does the 3-pin, whilst another does the 2-pin, etc...

Interesting thread! I'm constantly battling with adaptors and also plug spacing on a multiplug. Why don't they just space them further apart!
Anyways... it got me thinking... What do you "nether regions" look like
Whether it be at work or home - just how many plugs/combinations of 2-pins and transformer plugs does your multiplug need to accommodate?

i find these work best.. can get up to 3 two pins in them.. two of the transformer directly attached to the pins facing each other on the outer two pin slots and one cable attached two pin in the middle..
