Invited to a dinner on Satuday night and the main meal will be prawns.

I'd like to offer to take dessert.

What would fit in with the menu ?

Desert – get a tub of Woolie's vanilla ice cream, add grated dark chocolate, some crushed Chuckles, about two teaspoons of Milo and 2 heaped teaspoons of peanut butter and a few crushed honey roasted cashews/peanuts. Mix up, dish into two bowls and drizzle some Patron over. You can do this after dinner,. It’s very quick or you can do it beforehand and place back into freezer until ready to serve.

1 pack marie biscuits and 1l home made custard : layer this.
Then mix lemon juice with a tin of condensed milk and put this on top as your final layer... put it into the fridge to cool.
It is the best desert ever... ever.

How much skill and time are you willing to expend? How much of a wow factor are you after?

Creme Brulee! You can make it and then take it with - and then before serving you can make brulee the sugar on top :)

Eaton mess.
Good, tasty and classic dish you can serve in champagne glasses either layered or mixed in.
You can also frost the rims of the glasses.

The problem with pavlova is that it can look terrible if not done properly and it is normally a huge dish is delicate especially if you have to transport it.
Eaton mess avoids all the variables and tastes great.

Chocolate pots - where when you break it open the chocolate oozes out. nomnomnom
