Suggestions needed please

Hi All

I need some suggestions from you guys.

We got three remote sites which we need to access remotely. So now I'm looking at the possibility of using vodacom 3g routers/modems in order to enable us to.

iBurst coverage is extremely poor. 3G is best.

In your experience, what will work the best?

We require PPTP VPN connectivity with Dynamic DNS capabilities to enable us to connect to, and access the sites.

Difficult i would say for a 3G connection your sites as you mentioned are remote.
What in the event the tower in that area goes down , there's a power failure, or the router reboots e.t.c
you have to drive to that site each time one of the many possibilities go`s wrong .
Is Adsl not an option ?

ADSL is not an option.

There is a technician on site who will be able to rectify the issues.

This is the reason I left 3G early this year & am using ASDL. due to the weather in this area 3G is better, cos ADSL get hit by lightning a LOT Sadly the signal here by me has become so bad you cant even DL your mail, on 3G most days. They fix it & it ok for 1-2 days down for 5-7. It just didnt work for me, as I rely on my email to make money. Games??? hahaha now you joking, they might work once a week.

When I asked about it .............. eventually I was told they planning another tower. I asked when? they could not answer. So I said: What will happen when all the crowds come that has been drawn by 2010? the intelligent answer I was given was : I dont know, the tower is in planning.
