Its self destructive, what hope does anyone have of changing his habits? Heres the point, he needs to take responsibility for his actions and face the consequences. Its called choice! He burnt his hand once and then he goes back for seconds, willingly? Your point of view is detrimental to his recovery. Theres a difference between being supportive and being an enabler. Think about it which one you are to him.
He made the decision twice, had the dosh to pay for sex twice and to pay for the tests twice and now wants to cop out after discovering what the consequences of his choices are? Sounds like a selfish, spoilt brat. Probably doesn't even care what the impact of his suicide will be to the family, who'll have to clean up the mess and take care of all the red tape after he offs himself.
I'd sit the boy down and help him to understand what happens after someone commits suicide. Then, beg to at least do the deed in a way that minimizes the load on his family. Also, do a proper job and make sure that it doesn't leave him a drooling vegetable who needs someone to feed them, bathe them and wipe their bum everyday.
