Hard :D times indeed. It must be so difficult to decide which prossie to choose. His actions were of no benefit to anyone else. He has every right to live out his desires but not at the cost of hurting people that love him. The fact that he can TALK about suicide and not actually do it is because of statments like yours.

Its sounds like your friend is displaying obsessive compulsive disorder in the form of a compulsive sexual addiction.
Its an impulse control problem.

Since he is suicidal its seems like he is unable to control himself from this vicious cycle.

Was he really he a virgin?

Im willing to bet that his first sexual encounter was with an insanely hot woman and im sure that the mania he received from that encounter fuels this compulsive desire.
The hormone/hyper sexuality derived from this is as dangerous as a drug.

Please get him to a Psychiatrist/or Gp, who would probably give him an antidepressant/SSRI which would balance out the OCD he is having trouble with, and would lower his incredibly powerful sex drive.

Well over the course of 6 weeks he took and paid for over R3k in HIV test's and psychology to get him through this. He told his family what he did and promised not to do it again.

Two weeks later, he end's up back at the club with the same mates and does this again. So he goes through the motions again, paying for HIV test, after HIV test and tells his parents again.
It's now week three and he is still wigging out but this time he said he know's he has it this time and his life is over, so whats the point of living..

Now my friend is always a attention seeker, not really the brightest guy around or any of those things but I really doubt he would go this far and truth be told after doing this a second time, I'm kinda rethinking keeping him as a friend.

I'm planning on giving his sister a call tomorrow morning to let her know whats up.

What would you guys do in this kind of situation?
