Suitable replacement for Galaxy Note 10.1" 2014 Edition?

So I'm due for a renewal and seriously considering not taking a new device as nothing seems better than what I have at the moment. Am I missing something?

Nope, not missing something. Mine got stolen in a house breaking a couple of weeks ago, and I can't find anything suitable to replace it with. I ended up taking the Tab S2 9.7", as that's the only one I could find that's close to the Note, although it's a normal Tab and don't have the S-Pen.

You can have a look at the Google Pixel C, but that was a bit outside my price range.

Same. I've cancelled the contract but I'm keeping the device until it fails on me. After the lollipop update, it performs well again.
