Suits

Do you have different suits for business, daytime leisure, and evening leisure?

The last one I bought was ~R5k. Wool suit, not a designer brand, just enough to get away with looking formal when needed. Tailoring was free with initial purchase.
Ok but where'd you buy that also does tailoring? I thought you meant like buy from Store A and get it tailored somewhere else.

Khaliques, thanks to all the adverts on 702.

Just curious about cost. Decent off-the-shelf suit + tailor.
Tailor actually works out cheaper in the long run, and you can choose your fabrics and style. There's a local indian tailor who sorted me out before I lost weight in Pinetown, I still want him to do me a suit one day, we spoke about it and it was really well priced, also would be something that I'd keep on hand, mainly the jacket, already had tailored trousers.

*edit* f*** me , R5k? Tailor was going to charge around R1.5k last time I checked in.

Suit? I don't even have any formal shirts!

With WFH and now being divorced I couldn't care less how I dress. I was thinking of applying for jobs the other day and that will require me to get at least one shirt for the interview.

Honeys taking surveys like a tidy guy.

I'm not particularly fashionable so I've got 5 or 6, a mix of colours but pretty average - greys, blues, you gots to have black, plus one white summer jacket; going to a wedding on a beach so will break this one out. But they last me years so my advice is if you're going to get one, get decent quality.

I eventually found her name is Andrea Philips through a till slip. Not sure why PnP lists their cashier's full name on the till slips. I kind of lost interest in her though.

By MYBB standards, this makes you an OG pimp.

Ha!
By the standards of my mates, I'm a simple country bumpkin.
I mean I've accumulated them over time but they still come in handy - funerals, weddings, plus now and then wifey and I will dress up, go to like a show or ballet or something (well we used to - must see if those things are around still).

Bought a quality suit for my wedding nearly 15 years ago and use it for anything formal.

Same as me. Usually wear a suit once or twice a year (well, in the beforetimes).

Come to think of it, the last time I wore a suit may have been to the Joburg Theatre in early 2020.

I'm sure I will regret asking, but wtf are you two talking about?

Who is this bra?
DM me his details please

Was it the same guy that did Michael's suit?

If I remember correctly, @The_Ogre was close to smashing an absolute babe who was running surveys at his supermarket, but it all fell apart when he ran to MYBB to post about it instead of sealing the deal.

I've never owned a suit. At most I'll wear a collared shirt with jeans if going to something formal like a wedding or funeral. Job interviews I used to just go to in a t-shirt and jeans, although I work in IT so could always get away with it.

This chick was doing surveys at PnP and I asked her to save her number on my phone. Because I was drunk, I forgot her name so couldn't find her number on my phone to call her later on. Well I lost that phone a day or two later.

Some time later I spotted her doing cashier duty at PnP Liquor. She couldn't even remember me when I asked her. So I just thought "Tsek".

I found out on the till slip what her name and surname was. I have only one contact with the name Andrea and that person works at EOH which means its a business contact that I dealt with at some stage.

Business contact or not, same person or not, you should try to smash. A lot of us are vested in the story now and we need closure. You owe it to us as much as you owe it to yourself.
