I don't think that logic follows. It's an argument from silence. Just because she hasn't specifically said so, does not mean she does not care. In any event I'm sure most people don't really care too much either, even on MyBB. Making social media posts is not really synonymous with caring.

Pretty sure she is referring to the farm murders. What does it matter that she is only concerned about "white murders"? She isn't saying the others don't matter, she just feels strong about her race/people. A form of patriotism no?

Yep, and the constant reference to "our people" implies she only gives a **** about one group.

I don't mind if people report on crime, but she intentionall attracts the dregs of society, as evident in this post:

If she had mentioned all murders one could still accuse her of not talking about our brethren in Zim, and beyond. How many people died from Ebola? And in Syria/Iraq? And that poor Asian Air flight?

The mistake is the "black savage" bit. That's not on.

Patriotism is one thing, being a smug, nose in the air victim is another level of irritating.

If she cared about the others, she'd emphasise the plight of all South Africans as they're affected by crime, not single out her own tribe. Patriotism would also see her doing what I just mentioned, tribalism is what she's doing.

I did use it as a theoretical example when talking about hate speech.
But I have never said those words in earnest.
I think you might have me confused with someone else.

I think that's one possible way of caring, but not the only one. I think one should not project ones' own behaviour on others. Honestly if people really cared about crime, they'd all join neighbourhood watches, donate money to security watches in townships and help the people there also in other ways such as petitioning the cops etc. Social media commentary is just lip service. It's people getting things off their chest. It's a type of psychological soul soothing. A type of therapy.

Not just that, she specifically made mention that perpetrators of all the white murders in South Africa where committed by "black savages". She is making a claim that a specific section of society is being deliberately targeted by another when it fact there are no facts to support this.

Yes the farm murders are actually committed by other white farmers wanting to get rid of the competition in some mafia conspiracy.

Most of these farm murders are committed by blacks, but that's what happens when around 80% of the country's population is black, makes it a 80% probability right there.

Also what's with all the people trying to make farm murders seem less important?
People have family members on farm, of course that's gonna be their primary concern, don't shoot them down. The only way to solve something is to put focus and resources on it.

If your fight is with murders in informal settlements, take the fight there, instead of sabotaging someone else's efforts to protect their family.

True.

However the black savages thing was uncalled for. It implies all blacks are savages or that black race makes you a savage. Now maybe she meant the murderers were savages, but it came out all prejudiced.
