2nd occasion this is happening.
Recharge with prepaid airtime, get SMS explaining the extent of freebies.

Use USSD menus to load data bundle and check balances.
Usually got SMS with details with Supacharge details along with the new data bundle balance I've loaded.

Now that isn't happening.

Then upon checking data balance bundle via the ussd menus shows only the Supacharge balance. Once that is depleted, the balance shows as zero.
But I'm still online.

So I take it for granted that the bundle the bundle I've loaded, is active, but I've no way of knowing what my balance is.

Any input rep?
Anyone else?
I'm on my Galaxy Nexus.

Wait for Cell_C till Monday or try call centre.

Thanks - I'll leave it till Monday when gets back online and hopefully get some feedback.

Call Centres are a big no no for me.
Though I've got a number of someone whom I think is a bit higher up that said I should give him a shout if I ever had any issue again - nice guy, Warren.
I'll hold off on that for a while.

Hi Shake&Bake, are you checking your balance Via *147# opt2? it will give you a more detailed balance unlike *101# *DM*

Yes. Always have been using *147# but now it doesn't show a data balance. Only the Supacharge balance. Which is now depleted, so the bundle I loaded is not reflecting at all. Zero is all she wrote, but I'm still online.

Disconcerting to say the least, as I don't know where I stand....

Please PM me your number. Thanks *DM*

Just some more on this, that I've noted now from my side:

Supacharge data balance only visible via *147# Option 2.
Normal Prepaid Data Balance only visible via *101#

Twas never like this before.

My thinking is that the change was made as it may be cheaper to transmit information via ussd menu than SMS. Therefore the split in results.

Actually SMS is cheaper for the network. "Cheaper" I mean it is off-line system, it can be responded with delay (giving server more time to respond), while USSD requires immediate response from the server and if server doesn't respond immediately, connection will time-out.

This issue is now resolved as Cell_C Rep has sorted the matter and both data bundles are now visible from the *147# Option 2 USSD Menu.

Thanks Cell_C :D
