Hi there,

My left indicator has taken some steroids and now flashes 2 times a second whilst my right flashes normally. Does anyone know how I would go about fixing this irritating problem?

Many thanks :)

Ah! I will check tonight. I hope that is the problem and not an auto electrical thing...Thank you!

I find it difficult to comprehend that someone does not know this.

RTFM. Heaven forbid the ABS light should come on...

Mine has been on for the last couple of months...should I worry ?
LOL noooooo you shouldnt worry about not being able to stop at 120km/h.... Nope not dangerous at all.

Dude! ever heard of brake fluid? On a serious note your brake fluid is prob low or you have a leak. Or your abs fuse has gone for some or the other reason.

Why would I want to stop at 120 km/h ? And there are no leaks whatsoever.
I dont trust these funny lights... there are too many of them on the dashboard !
there is another one, also flashes sometimes - it says service. WTF ? Is it asking for some attention ? I mean, I check the oil and water every now and again, what else it wants ?

This reminds me of a gentleman who brought his V8 Touareg in to VW because "da pefomance is slaggish"
When asked how many KM's the vehicle had, he replied "sixty-eight thouw"
When asked when and where the vehicle was last serviced, he replied "hammmm..neva?"
When asked whether he noticed the 'Service/Inspection' notification on the dashboard every time he switched on the ignition, together with the chime notifying him that the vehicle was due for a service, he replied "ho hokê, I saw that one. But the sound was irritating, so I find da wire and I caat it."

For objects in the middle of highway - thats why you put bull bars, and then engage reverse, and do it again x3 times, or as many as you like.

As for everything else above , ok it was a joke :)
After all its monday :)

My ex-boss had a SL500, and the red light for the service indicator irritated him, and he wasn't interested in using Merc for a service (out of service plan), he tried to cover it with some black tar like putty - looks shocking.

Certain people should have their cars taken away from them and be forced to use public transport!!:rolleyes:

I agree - he actually cracked the plastic cover behind the gunk.

Although, I have to admit, I also broke his SL500 - parked on a very steep incline, and they have that pedal handbrake thing, I pushed it in as far as it would go - then when I came back I pulled the handheld plastic release thing straight off - he now has a green and red rope as a handbrake release

First time for everything - learning as I experience problems.

Should be globe, so change that first...

..next would be to ensure all the connections are clean

...last option imo would be to take it to an electrician
