Remember that it is the super moon tonight.

Tonight is the night that the moon will pass closest to the earth, meaning it will be 14% bigger and 30% brighter than normal.

What makes it more special is that it is also a full moon tonight.

Great opportunity for photos tonight.

EDIT: Only saw rpm's post as well. But I put this in the photography section for a reason! Share your photos later

Wish I still had my bridge camera for this

Hopefully the clouds will clear a bit more later on but

NB the camera only records one TC for some reason. It should read 840mm.

Oooh nevermind, I see where I went wrong... was on ISO 100...

Adding mine in this thread ... more appropriate

EDIT : We have clear skies and I used 100 ISO

This is as close as I can get without cropping. 300mm with a 1.4x, 2.0x and a home made extension tube so I've got no idea what the focal length is anymore despite what the camera is saying! :)

Last and Final try

F 5.6
1/500
ISO 100
With 300 mm
