And instead of a Cheetahs try it's a saders one. Ridiculous decision, 14 point reversal

What did the Kings do to deserve Christie as the TMO. Lives here and probably has the biggest grudge against them.

Great play by the Kings tonight, and some really great tries! Should be out of sight now. Hopefully the Sharks will pull off a minor miracle in Argentina.

ref debacle just gets worse by the week .... see utter incompetence and spite in at least 3 games every weekend. It's ruining what rugby is man.

Grief, the Blues are missing Piers Francis at flyhalf. Gatland's lack of experience getting to him. Kicking woefully, too.

Sunwolves fullback Jamie-Jerry Taulagi cops five weeks' ban for foul play

Sunwolves fullback Jamie-Jerry Taulagi has been hit with a five-week ban.

Former Queensland Red Taulagi was sent off for a dangerous tackle after the final hooter during the Super Rugby loss to the Chiefs on Saturday.

The Auckland-born back came off the bench in Hamilton and drove his shoulder into the head of Shaun Stevenson while the Chiefs outside back was being tackled near the visitors' tryline in the 27-20 defeat.

"Taking into account mitigating factors including the player's remorse, on-field apology and early guilty plea the Foul Play Review Committee reduced the suspension to five weeks (from seven)," the committee said in a statement issued by governing body Sanzaar on Monday.

Pay the price in a time when the Sunwolves could do with a victory in Argentina. 5 Players out (6 incl. JJ Taulagi).

Takeshi Kizu
Heiichiro Ito
Fumiaki Tanaka
Hayden Cripps
Teruya Goto

The team is in a bad place playing the Jaguares this coming weekend.

Can't see the beating the Jaguares, even with those players though.

Shota Emi is already on tour with the Sunwolves, he is likely to slide into Taulagi’s position. Jumpei Ogura, which has now been recalled, will be replacing Cripps. These two tend to change the dynamic up into an enterprising game.

Fumiaki Tanaka will be replaced by Keisuke Uchida.

They still have Yuki Yatomi and Yu Tamaru as their pivots, and Kenki Fukuoka and Ryohei Yamanaka are returning to the team.

The backline is still mostly in tacked, but losing on depth hurts these boys. Tanaka, Cripps and Taulagi will be missed, but I still say that Ogura is a much better player than Cripps.

They managed to beat the Jaguares in Tokyo, maybe they can manage that again in Buenos Aires.
