Super Rugby 2018

Red card for Highlanders in the first Q. Not sure if it should not have been a yellow - or was that hoof to face deliberate?

He looked the guy full in the eyes when he straightened his leg.

Now this silly yellow.

And now a yellow against Highlanders. The ref is killing this one. Waratahs No. 9 should earn a medal for being a drama queen.

Golden opportunity for an Australian team to finally beat a New Zealand side.

I also don't agree with the yellow. It was deliberate though, but an intercept was on the table though cut too close.

So...

once the review is done by the commission I think Nabura is likely to cop a 6+ week ban. I'm guessing 8 weeks (reduction incl.). This is a strike to the head, kicking. I wouldn’t be surprised to see 10-12 weeks...

Kicking

Low-end: 4 weeks
Mid-range: 8 weeks
Top-end: 12 weeks
Max: 52 weeks

Kicking the head shall result in a top-end entry point sanction.

Going through all the tweets, I don't see any New Zealand supporter having Nabura's back.

EDIT:

And that gents are why a mouth guard is necessary or mandatory. It helps a lot with shock absorption.

Serious brain fart.

I have the opinion that a red carded player must be replaceable by ‘available’ substitution in 10 minutes, like returning a yellow carded player. Normal sanctions must still apply, otherwise the situation may be abused.

I was thinking about this and at the time I thought maybe 20 minutes. Double the time of a yellow. It sanctions the indiscretion but it doesn't the team & game too severely. Now I am thinking 15 minutes.
