Hi,
I was hoping a networking guru would be able to give me some advice.
I am sick and tired of the shoddy Super Sport (SP) streaming. I have a 10Mb connection and can stream YouTube in HD but SP keeps freezing during a stream. Sometimes it's ok but most of the time it just plain sucks. I have sent so many mails and had so many fights to no avail. I'm also over hearing them sprout their BS on the MyBB articles about it being a client ISP issue.
I'm using net monitor and can see a burst of between 350kbps-500kbps then it drops to 0mbps, freezes for a second then another burst of data and so on. This happens on IS and FNB Connect (Not sure who their backbone is)
I want to be able to somehow track where the bandwidth limitation is coming from. If I can prove that the bottle neck resides on the MWEB side then that would give me a strong footing to launch another complaint.
I envisage I would need a Wireshark/Traceroute/Bandwidth Monitoring hybrid but for streaming specifically. Any ideas?
Thanks.
