Supercar 'dice' ends in tragedy

for sure.... not going to be easy for them.... as a racer I feel for the guy but Im sure he will be capable of defending himself

Then what is it? Its made by Audi, designed by Audi has an Audi engine...
Same reliability as an Audi.

actually.. is still on a lambo engine :) lol...

and design has been pretty similar while under new ownership..

so i wouldn't quite call it a full audi yet...

its not quite a boring mindless car yet, just somethings actually work, like the aircon :P

Its official... JK8 Has lost all sense... :D

Guy, please... the only influence Audi had was in the steering wheel. Lambo is all ITALIAN the only attempted supercar from Audi was the R8....

Here is a thought: if Lambo is owned by Audi who is owned by VW who is owned by ..... Porsche? :sick:

Nope Audi engine, they cant write powered by Audi lol....
It has to have a similar design... otherwise it not a Lambo.

Nope is an Audi! Audi steering, Quattro drivetrain, even the LEDs, I havent seen the parts but Im sure some say Audi Lambo on it!:p

Besides why doesnt the R8 say powered by Lambo? It would help not?
Its because its all Audi!

Heres another one, if Buggati is owned by VW who owns Bentley, Audi, Lambo and is then owned by Porsche.... What an awesome collab!!!:p

What do you mean no brakes my car has amazing brakes and abs :p

It is not slow :), it goes 75 on a steep uphill and can clock over 170 on a straight :), i think i would rather go through a wall racing someone in my car knowing i won't be doing 160-180 than smash through a wall in a supercar doing 160-180

Look... holding ownership of these companies are one thing... but in essence the cars are still different. As for the Lambo having an Audi engine.... no way hose....

Please do not put Lambo and Audi under 1 umbrella..... Lambo has a personality!!! All Audi is trying to do is buy a personality.....

Im with killadoob on this one, The slower car with decent brakes/airbags/abs will be much safer hitting a wall at 80kph then the superfast one hitting it at 180kph.
Or you could be clever and save that stuff for trackdays (or lose it roll and become charcoal)

All that Audi realised when they made the R8 is that it was half a car.... so they turned to the Lambo engineers (Italian NOT German) and asked if they could put a V10 from Lambo into the Audi and call it the R10 (Very original)......

You can rebadge it if you like as much as you like.... but deep down you know what it truly is.... ;)

Agreed. I see you can pick up a nice Formula GTI car for like R90k. Now that would be a fun way to enjoy speed IMO.

Lets make it more fun, would you rather hit a wall a 80 in your fiesta or 120 in a Lambo? Ill take the latter.

They use their Mercs engines. It say powered by Mercedes...

Audi doesnt have to ask Lambo, they take from Lambo which is their and they made the engines, so when they make a better lambo they take the old engine and drop it in an Audi, like the RS6, R8 and the RS8.:)

Just face it, the new Lambos are awesome cars, built, designed and powered by Audi!:)

Confession.

Last year I went to Pietersburg for a wedding, I raced a Gallardo, Murcielago, F430, and a new M3 with my Polo needed to open the engine.

I can say that at 220, those cars are cruising, my car on the other hand wasnt stable at all, but it was fun!!!

Side by side at 220 they still managed to accelerate like mad and left me by 20 - 30m easy!!! Except the M lol!!
