6. Case number 2310/2020: the second last paragraph stipulates that the claim was settled on the 15th of February 2022 outside the High Court in Cape Town.

@Truth Seeker you cobble together unrelated data points, obfuscate the real details of court cases and keep attributing to false authority, hoping that mountains of unreadable text will create the illusion that there is actual evidence and /or facts that "investors" will get "payouts".

Indeed points of interest in this article (which has a few typographic errors not usually seen in a prepared article in the Citizen!) from 2017.

Of particular interest is the absence of any mention of either the Apartheid or ANC governments having plundered a private individual's estate.

The problem with this "evidence" is that it does not contain any factual statement regarding the Surtie matter - that is left to inference alone. This is the same as taking the title of an article in the media and assuming that it tells the actual story correctly, and is not just "click bate".
 
I have never seen a scam run for this long after having that many holes poked in the story.
The fact that people like Truth Seeker are still vehemently pushing the agenda just shows how many idiots still exist who will willingly part with their money in the hopes that it will multiply in value.

This is how it came about, it is now known: "CIEX approached Government", an agreement was concluded in October 1997 between CIEX's Mr Oatley and the Republic of South Africa - represented by Billy Masethla, the then Director-General of the South African Secret Service (p 5 of appendix A to annexure "E" to the founding affidavit).

10. In 1997 Judge Heath was "brought in", the CIEX report relates, to cloak CIEX's revelations with "a publicly recognisable framework" (p 9 of annexure "E" to the founding affidavit).

11. Nothing was done by the new "Democratic" Government to get to the bottom of it.

12. Yet in 2016 the applicant seeked to compel the current Minister of Finance and FNB to "comply" with CIEX' s recommendations.

13. CIEX's recommendations have legal status.

14. The legal status was proven in Case Number 2310/2020: the second last paragraph stipulates that the claim was settled on the 15th of February 2022 outside the High Court in Cape Town.

Point 14: This does not actually mean that it was proven - it just meant that the parties agreed to not continue through the courts. This can mean any number of things - the claimants can no longer keep incurring costs; the claimants have realised that they will never have a court find in their favour; the defendants have decided that they will lose in court etc.
