Surtie Inheritance Scam

I've been following and reading about this trend , I'm definitely not here to judge anyone or insult anyone.
I don't know the lies and truth about this ..but what I do know is that many poeple has invested in this , many times I heard about payouts but nothing happen...
So I have only one question actually 2 questions.
Why every time when they supposedly have to pay the money something happen than they can't.
Why does these poeple that have invested so much not stand together and demand what they were promised or at least what they put in.
Rather than sitting back and be lied to over and over again.

Because no one in they right mind can be that gullible to be lied so many time.

I do feel for the people though who have been waiting for money....for yeeeears now. Hope must be lost in quite a number (maybe even the majority) of them

Exactly, I've also seen some letters from lawyers about cases , why can't this lawyers give some statement to the poeple also stating when money will be paid to them, than there will be no more hear say.

I feel sad for everyone going trough this I don't think it's easy for them to just give up even they know there might be nothing.
 
I'm guessing if this thing really does pay out some day we probably wouldn't hear from them on a public forum like this due to security / privacy concerns? so this thread could very well continue with more and more scams being revealed, more guessing, hearsay etc etc...for more years to come.

Exactly the same types for fell for it in every century all the way back to pre-Christian times. After all, in a sense, every "pastoor" who has pumped scams based on the Surtie story is represented in the Bible by the Serpent. And I bet you will find equivalent parables depicted back to cave drawings! Gullibility and greed seem hardwired into the human brain.
