Oh dear me. I should just stop reading the news today. So there's a 50/50 chance that the report is factual, although there is only a 10% chance of that. Now, after all of this there will be a truly thick document, which I won't read, which will be picked apart by high-earning individuals who really could spend their time better because said document, will be pointless, edited and PR for nerds with law degrees.
What difference does it make if even the public protector says you did something wrong and nothing happens (in parallel, similar investigations). So really, who cares. Do we still have loadshedding? Yes. Is Eskom full of horse-dung? Yes. Can they fix it? Yes. Will they? No. Why? Because everyone is busy filing reports, reading them and picking them apart. The rest are standing in line to be appointed into committees and sub-committees. You know, job creation :|
So do me a favor, spare me the committee who will investigate the findings of this report. Spare me the report that they in turn will generate which will be investigated by a sub-committee. We're a boat full of report writers, committee and sub-committee members. Who the hell does the rowing guys?
