I also received this email. Knew it would cause a stir. Deleted it pronto!

Much as it is an attempt at humour, it crosses the line in terms of our legislation. Not necessarily the picture by itself; rather the accompanying comments.

An employee of the Aveng Group has been suspended for sending an e-mail that has been described as "the lowest form of insult that could be levelled against any black person in this country".

xxxx xxxxx, a member of a management team at one of Grinaker-LTA's divisions, distributed an e-mail titled: "Quadbikes in the good old days" with a picture of two white boys riding on the backs of two black boys kneeling on all fours.

i lole'd, but at work one never forward or send jokes and jokes related to

1) gender
2) religion
3) race
 
Reminds me of a picture we took couple of years ago on a school trip. Had 3 white guys pulling an ox wagon with our black friend in it, then reversed the positions for another picture. All fun and games then, but could be seriously taken out of context like this picture
 
The picture itself shows a group of youngsters playing together on a farm. That the two white youngsters were in the driving seat is probably coincidental. If the photo was taken 5 minutes later the positions might have been reversed!
 
i dont see any problem with the pic, its looks like all 4 had a good time laughing, always use the RACE card when a white man do something wrong, but when a black man do something wrong nothing comes from it.
 
Interesting to note how many people quickly associated knuckle dragger with a black person.

I can't say how the guy meant it, in a racist way or not but:

an unintelligent person. One resembling a lower primate or un-evolved human.

Reminiscent of the hunched over cave man, with his arms to the ground. An insult used against those of extremely low intelligence, or general stupidity.

Yes there are also racist definitions.

He could have simply meant a stupid person though. Yet you people are quick to associate it with a black person. Very interesting.

That's exactly what I meant and those two know it. Instead the one decides to troll and the other decides to start a circle jerk...
 
I am sure fudzy will use that as his defence.maybe he is in the loo.will wait.

That's the saddest part, even if there were pictures taken of the black kids riding the white kids they wouldn't be circulated.

He meant the white person who sent the e-mail. Even though the guy was in the wrong for sending the e-mail Fudzy paints him as some white boer of lower class intelligence.

Not the first time he has insulted White/Afrikaans people. Everything after that is just damage control.
