Toyota Glanza facelift launch likely on October 14 - Team-BHP​

According to a media report, Toyota is planning to launch the Glanza facelift on October 14. It is expected to receive cosmetic updates and a new engine.

The new Glanza could get a redesigned grille similar to the recently launched Maruti Baleno facelift. It could also come with reworked bumpers and other minor updates.

The facelift version might also get new features such as ventilated front seats, a wireless smartphone charger, and Level 2 ADAS. However, the overall layout of the dashboard is unlikely to change.

Like the Baleno, the upcoming Glanza is also expected to be powered by a new engine. The 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder K12N unit will be replaced with the new 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder Z12E naturally aspirated petrol engine. It produces 82 BHP and 112 Nm and is paired with either a 5-speed manual or AMT.

Toyota is also likely to offer a CNG version of the Glanza. It will use the same engine mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
