On our roads and showroom floors right now are a bunch of cars which look a lot like each other. The Toyota Vitz is a Suzuki Celerio. The Toyota Rumion is a Suzuki Ertiga. The Toyota Starlet is a Suzuki Baleno. The Toyota Starlet Cross is a Suzuki Fronx and the Toyota Urban Cruiser is a Suzuki Grand Vitara.
And in our market, Toyota sells thousands of these cars which are all built by Suzuki in India and quite simply have Toyota badges on the nose. And this raises a few questions. Which cars do Toyota actually build themselves, and secondly, how on earth does this arrangement benefit Suzuki?
Well if you’ve always wanted an answer to these questions, you’ve come to the right place. And, right at the end of the video, we're going to give you some solid consumer advice, if you’re trying to choose between a Toyota or a Suzuki right now.
You see, that was sneaky of us because now you have to watch the whole video. Or you could just skip ahead. But don’t cheat like that! Anyway.
