Swearing telkom employee

If I am one of those who........then I am one of those? Am I missing something?
Seems obvious that if I am one of those , I am one of them

Ok in layman's terms, if you're a wimp then I'd have to call you a retard too. Make sense?

Women wanted equal rights and they have it. They have a job, and if they're incompetent and useless at it (especially when dealing directly with clients), then they're subject to the same treatment had it been a male employee. Go cry elsewhere because everyone in the working world is equal - there's no special treatment.

wow what a thread derailer lol

i agree with cory (don't flame me :) ) language like that shouldn't have been used on a lady regardless, i wouldn't want my daughter or sister growing up in a world were it's okay for language like that to be used on them reagrless of the situation.

i can understand the OP anger ans sympathise (sp), what thandi did afterwards was just as bad but still she didn't deserve that language, she works for telkom she doesn't run it.

/flame suit on

Both were wrong. The OP for swearing and Thandi (if it can be proven beyond doubt that it was her) for the unsolicited calls.

If the proof is irrefutable then she should be dismissed.

So I guess you love your woman, barefeet, pregnant, in the kitchen making dinner? wow... machomachoman....

Equal rights for all!!! (oh but, but some are more equal than others still, otherwise they'll cry about it)

i agree why swear, shouting would have been better and more civilised

Personally I agree. Why swear. I've killed more with kindness than I have with bad words and yelling over the phone. "Can I speak to your supervisor please?" <-- Words uttered if imbecile proves worthless.

However, some people do get angry. And they do lose it and says something they regret. The OP obviously regretted it (hence he mentioned it wasn't called for) but her behavior in turn is outrageous and bordering on stalking.

I run 2 businesses. The client is always right. In this case the employee has gone and abused her position at Telkom to gain access to his cellphone number to be able to phone and swear at him... whats right about that???

Nothing. But just because she has tits and a ***** now suddenly she has to be treated differently? Refer to my attempt at humor as Telkom Boss/Thandi and ICASA "deal" with this complaint.

I'm impressed the OP didn't go to the police with this as it's actually a criminal case. He can get a restraining order against Thandi for something like this and sue Telkom for abusing his personal information in a manner not-business like.

Agreed. While I hate Telkom just as much (if not more) than the average South African, swearing their employees because you're not getting your way is uncalled for. What you did was wrong and if it is her making those calls to you then she is wrong too. Two wrongs don't make a right though, so I don't believe either of you should get preferential treatment since you both were willing to resort to vulgarities.

Bottom line is, don't dish it out if you're not willing to take it.

Would still like to know why I am called wimp, retard, moron.
Cos you act like one. There was no need for either party to swear, but going on about how a woman should be treated and then further justifying that only she had the right to swear him because he's a man is just plain dumb. "oh boo hoo, you don't swear a woman, you must hold the door open for her and spread your coat over a puddle and put her vagina on a pedestal". Please man, grow up. We live in an equal society.

OP was in the wrong even if he's been treated like crap by Telkom. Defamation of character ftl.

Smoothcriminal you're a prat, end of story. Some people have respect towards woman although Thandi don't deserve ****.

Does calling someone a turd qualify as defamation of character?

Who said I don't? I respect those who earn and deserve respect. Even you say that Thandi didn't deserve it, so I guess that must make you a prat too. Did you even read his initial post in this thread?

I have to agree, there really is no place for swearing, and by the way it was said, it was a personal attack on Thandi.
