Swimming Pool Insurance

My swimming pool sprung a leak underneath the weir recently. It's too deep for me to repair. I got a quote for repairs (over R 5000.00) so I tried to claim via my insurer, Old Mutual. After two weeks they rejected the claim as wear and tear.

So I would like to move to an insurer that provides cover for swimming pool leaks. I was thinking of going to FNB to get extra ebucks, no other reason.

Are there insurers that cover pool leaks? Does anyone have bad experience with FNB insurance?

Why not challenge it as a ground subsidence issue?

I tried to explain that but their response to the claim was: "Deterioration, wear and tear or gradual operating cause." So they don't even know why they are rejecting.
