Switch 2 thread

I'm off to UK at the weekend and was thinking to grab Cyberpunk and take the Switch 2. Only concern really is 11 hours on a plane with a 2 hour'ish battery life. I'm wondering if a S2 will charge from the USB port on the back of the seat in front. I don't want to take big heavy battery packs as I've only got carry on and no hold luggage, so I need the carry on for clothes and essentials.
Keep us informed.

Maybe play 2H, charge 4, play 2...

Anyone able to recommend a good screen protector?

Doesn't seem to be stock anywhere

If its a must have Core is selling a Hori for a serious mark-up

A cheaper option would be to goto Incredible Connection and check if you can find a Generic thats the right size. I know Northgate one had a whole range of sizes.

Game Key Card should have been a code in box.

Edit: All that and we only have 256GB
They need to roll out bigger Express cards.
This whole thing is just yuck.

The point of a cart has always been that you can just stick it in and play it.
My biggest issue with the Switch 1 right now is that often games that I have downloaded, will randomly just corrupt and I have to go through the painful process of re-downloading a game that I have already downloaded.

The days of pick up and play are gone. Its so dissapointing.

Played a bit of Doom, currently R71.00
A lot smoother than OG Switch, pity the FX still dog crap vs Xbox. Here is hoping for a bumped-up HD texture.

Actually, that is my main gripe, most of the games should at least just get better texture maps, esp cross plat games. Switch 2 can handle it now especially looking at how good No Man's Sky looks.

I updated the 8bitdo adapter yesterday and was able to sync my spare Dual Sense to it! Anyone get a screen protector yet and if so where did you get it?

This is BULL!!!!

Saudi version comes with game on a card.

We only get a bloody number on a piece of paper and not even a "scratch and sniff" version like in USA. :(

I played docked for the first time yesterday and picked up a problem with the sound. It outputs stereo instead of 5.1. So tonight is figure out the tv settings to get that working.

I prefer the code.

Game cards/discs on other consoles feel like a relic. My 6 year old cousin would probably look at me weird if I told her to change the game card to swap from Mario Kart to Odyssey, with digital it's super easy on every console to just hit the home button and choose the next game.

Would like the SD Express cards to get faster (internal storage is still quite a bit faster) and cheaper (512Gb for under R2k please) though.

We try to keep 1st party as cards and others as Digital as Nintendo 1st party games keep their value and seldom go on sale.

Thing with a digital collection for me is when the servers eventually gets shut down, you lose your collection.

Then there is the zero value of a "DRM free" collection. But is the better option...talking ke pirate.

For me, I am a collector, owning the physical thing. House is overflowing with plastic and I love it.

MInd you... the Switch card dumps. They said there is a certificate with each game. I wonder when they expire.

Even if they Expire I should be ok. I can like to have back-up's
