Switch 2 thread

Sooo who is buying Yoshi and the Mysterious Book?

We pre-ordering it on payday.

not at that price unfortunately

would be a great game for my nephew though. I lent my Switch to my brother so that they can be indoctrinated introduced to the Nintendo games. Problem is I am mostly digital. I have my nieces Switch Lite setup as the primary console to enable her to play. My profile needs to then connect out everytime i play which I'm ok with. It's not possible to get both the Switch and Switch Lite working at the same time. I do have Mario 3D world and the Galaxy bundle physical at least so they are playing those. Seems the co-op of 3D World is working for them.
But I am looking for cheaper physical copies of games like Kirby, Yoshi and even Princess Peach as there is another niece that may enjoy that.

Get @Cowboy619 to "fix" your Switch 1.

My Switch 2 has the same problem so hoping for a "fix" soon.

would it not cause issues after connecting to the internet? wouldn't want a 'fixed' Switch unfixing my Switch 2
So far for me, no issues.

It has 3 partitions. Like 3 different states.

Emummc, sysmmc and normal.

I hardly touch normal.

Emummc I have all my lekker games. Has tolls and stuff installed that you would not be able to on a non fixed.
SysMMC I use to copy my super edited save files for Pokemon.
Normal partition boots like a normal switch.

If I go home this evening, I will do another firmware check and let you know.
If firmware checks fail or can't open Eshop, means I am screwed.
But since last year, best decision I made.

As long as you don't stuff around on your stock sysMMC you're golden, DNS mitm and exosphere block your connection to Nintendo servers and blank out the serial no on emuMMC. So no logs go to Nintendo from emuMMC so in theory they can't ban you.

Most bans are from people trying to mod sysMMC, Nintendo keeps a log of everything even when offline so when you connect to the internet all the logs go straight to Nintendo and poof they ban you.

Best way to enjoy is to play "clean" games online using stock sysMMC and absolutely everything else on emuMMC.

Some of us have to use Sys CFW to transfer save files. So far no bans.

For sure, I think there's always a risk that it shows up on Nintendo's logs you never know what the ninjas will start doing.. but I think that's okay with a bit more risk, if you start transferring a 100% save to play mario kart online you might see a ban though.

Think my saving grace is I have not yet played a pirate game on stock.
