Switch to Axxess for ADSL line?

Hi there
Currently we're paying R325 per month for rental + voice line from Telkom. I saw an 8 Mbps option from Axxess for only R30 more than that. I would like to know, if we take our line with them, is it compulsory to take a voice service? This seems like a great price.

Voice is standard dude, whether you with another isp or Telkom. Unfortunately until naked Adsl happens( don't hold your breath),it's the only option. Unless you get FTTH ;)

Take the weekender package, and make landline to landline for free between 7pm and 7am on Fridays, and free on weekends. That's all I use it for, which at least is a benefit

We already use that, but nobody makes calls on this line. We have a separate line for calls. I don't make decisions around here, but I try my best to influence them ;)

Hahaha... Yeh man voice is a pain, but for now nothing you can do about it.
