Anyone own a synapse 600 ups/inverter. Charging amps can se preset.5,10,15 or 20 amps. These inverters seem to overheat at 15 and 20amp settings.Overheating sets in within 5 minutes of operation.( Lifepo4 108ah batt. good ventilation all round).Any thoughts?

Seems the heat dissipation is not too lekker on a high current. Does the fans Pull into the inverter or does it have a filter to stop dust? Usually internals get clogged with dirt and stuff so hinders its performance to cool the heatsinks of the charging circuit.

Inverter is brand new. This is the second one that does the same.1st Inverter was exchanged in 2 days of purchase thinking maybe it was a dud.

Hi, please may you assist me, if possible.
We have a Synapse 7.2m inverter connected to a Hubble battery. Periodically, after loadshedding, while the battery is charging there is a deep whirring sound that emanates from the inverter that lasts for about 10 seconds followed by a barely audible click from the battery. This process repeats continuously while the battery is charging and sometimes continues for hours afterwards. Any idea what could cause that?

What is the voltage of the battery before and after the click and during the hours afterwards?

Hello, thank you for the reply.
Voltage before click:
Input: 228
Output: 229
Directly after the click:
Input: 230
Output: 230
This continues for a few hours. Once it stops, I’ll tell you what the voltage is.
I took a video of what happens but I don’t see an option to post a video here.

Put the video on YT.
