We are looking for an IT Support Technician who is motivated, driven, and passionate about technology and innovation. Someone who will actively participate and contribute to help improve the way we provide excellence in customer services. To take ownership of end-user issues and problems and be pro-active when dealing with user issues and help them resolve any hardware or software problems.
What we require is a technical person who can act as a all rounder and has strong administration skills, the successful person would need to from a HDSA background and would need to fulfil the following role:

What we require is a technical person who can act as a all rounder and has strong administration skills, the successful person would need to from a HDSA background and would need to fulfil the following role:
- Document entire network (office/mine) - systems connected (PC/laptop/printer/phone etc)
- Document servers, pabx, wireless devices, proxies, firewalls and other boxes
- Document all usernames and passwords for servers etc
- Document all fixed addresses and the devices using them
- Document connectivity, map and outline connections, vpn, links etc
- Explore alternative connections, systems, pabx, printer to optimise environment and report back
- Provide technical support but also ensure standardisation is OS, Office, email
- Track down a capture hosting, domains, databases etc
- Learn systems such as IsoMetrix to be able to offer support on it
EXPERIENCE
- Min 3 – 5 years as a First Line Support Technician (Preferred with in an IT support company)
- Computer hardware and software systems and programs
- Computer networks, network administration and network installation
- Computer support troubleshooting
- Computer viruses and security
- Email and internet programs
