System Could not log you on

as i explained earlier i have the password to the secondary account... and the administrator account has no password...

I cannot even log in... it logs in, then logs straight out again

usually when it is connected to a domain you can choose the domain it is to connect to when you see that login box. i have got a program pc login now that i want to try quick

Based on what you've posted, I'm thinking that RavMon or another variant of those buggers have messed up your Userinit setting in the registry. That's the only thing I can think of that causes these symptoms, apart from a corrupted profile. However, since you can't even log in as Administrator, I have a feeling it's that trojan.

Was this person using anti-virus or any form of firewall before the system went down? If they were a typical person and the answer is no, then more than likely it's a trojan or virus.

I removed all viruses and i think that the profile was corrupted...

I managed to get a rollback on the ERD and now is working fine...
