Has anyone managed to get streamin T20 World Cup from superport to work. Ive tried it on Ubuntu and Vista.

Media Player does not even play the file. In Ubuntu VLC picks up the stream, however I think its DRM protected to the video is scrambled and no sound.

In Vista, its even worse. Click on the URL in IE 8 its dead. In firefox it launches Windows Media Player 11 but if does not play the file.

I got connected, it first downloaded some codec or upgrade. Using Firefox in Vista, it opened WMP 11...but the vid looks like a plastic sheet covering a camera stuck facing a road or something. lol. The vid keeps moving slightly, so you know it's a camera, it looks like the plastic sheet is wet. No sound either. Ultra weird

EDIT: Ok, now all I get is a black screen. It is connected though.

Nope, think someone at Supersport wisened up...it's working fine today. I agree the quality is shyte though:rolleyes:

Save the cap. Matches are live on SABC.

You need to be a DSTV subscriber to get the streaming anyway...so by default you should also have Supersport on your telly. It's just nice to know when you're not near a TV but have internet access you can watch the game live.
