Not a single problem with it. She plays games and uses it for youtube kids and netflix. Storage is a bit light, but it takes an sd card, so no problem.
Yeah, but it works great. Never skips a beat, and no lag or anything when she's using it. Also just runs a netflix app, whereas my fancy Samsung tablet won't and I had to hack it and modify an APK to get it to run netflix, so there's little things like that as well.
I had a Galaxy Tab 2.0...never again. Replaced it with an iPad 3 years later and that was 4.5 years ago. As fast as ever when I got it.A friend got this for her 8yo for Xmas last year:

Yeah 1GB ram limits games, Minecraft does work on the Dixon as that was one of the requirements from my son
, though his old phone he had only had 1GB and it did play an older version of Minecraft, but that phone seems to have disappeared after we had some contractors around. He's now using my old LG G4 and the wife's old Huawei P20 lite.For R1400 that's fine for kids. It won't get any of the latest iPadOS 14 launches, but it'll work just fine. OKay an update. It is too slow, lol!! Videos are fine but not simple games. So I am going to try the 2GB ram one, otherwise I must maybe just get a phone.
Honestly, a phone would probably be a better option, like a Redmi 9c or something. Cause 1GB of RAM is dooooooog slow now and I know this as my middle niece still has one.
