tacky tattoos

Have it done in black, maybe in a exotic text with a small border of some kind .......

On men if done right it's oke.
Women - Trampstamp!!!

I reckon it's great but why on your foot? It's your kids name. When they can read they have issues with it there I think. ....

What about on your inner fore-arm , between wrist and elbow?

... and his birth date in Roman Numerals on the other arm?

So I've been wanting to get another tattoo for a while now but have been uhming and ahing over it in my usual non-decisive way. I eventually decide what I want to do and then I'm told its tacky... so my question is:

Is having my daughters name tattooed on my foot tacky?

Foot and tacky (takkie!:)) being used in the same sentence seems to make sense to me! :)

A tattoo is personal, it should not matter what anyone else thinks!

+1 :o

(Cant not believe I just posted this)

It is like HuffelotSA says it is personal and as long as it has meaning to you why not :)

I've never understood why tattoos are so frowned on for women. My sister has 7 tattoos and she is the LEAST trampy woman I know. Her tattoos are all simple and classic and have real meaning for her. I like body art - it's just a pity that some people see it as trampy. I think my current tattoo is really pretty and quite feminine too.

The general feeling amongst tattoo aficionados (my GF is one) is that anything above the collar or below the cuffs crosses 'the line' - maybe the person you were talking to was interpreting this when commenting on your idea (I highly doubt its your daughters name they thought tacky)?

One thing for sure though foot+tattoo=OUCHIE! That's about as on the bone as it gets!

No... it really was the name idea that they thought tacky...

I don't get the rules sometimes, he can call my wife a tramp, but i'm not allowed to call his mother a whore? how does that work?

As too the tat, I think its a great idea, just not on your foot? Perhaps around your ankle with a nice border?

Yup - always like that :/

Off topic - my stepfather is a little tight when it comes to money - counting every cent etc etc. I can say he's stingy ... but I get annoyed if anyone else says it :P

Just the way it works!

The difference between tattoo and body art. Every second girl has a meaningless tribal design on her ever growing back side.
If it has meaning yes. But it’s become an fashion statement for girls that’s not suppose to be wearing anything that shows their midriff.
Maybe 5% is not a trampstamp the rest is.
Just my opinion.
My bf says it looks like they slept in wet news paper.:D

LOL!!
Not one is one of those stereotype tribal designs.
Those are art.

How many do you thing is going to wash off?
I know most people do not like her but i like Angies Tattoos. Every one means something.

I'd like to get my cats face tattoo'd on my knee
