Taco Bell - in SA

A surprisingly large number of myBBers seem to live under a rock

Taco Bell is horrible. There are many better Mexican fast food joints in the US.

Theres a Sttarbucks in Mall of Africa in Jhb

And at menlyn mane and rose bank I think

Dafuq. Wish they'd open one in PE then.

Their local prices are on par with other coffee shops.

Encouraging to hear. Although they can't be under great SA leadership if their presence is so miniscule.

Nothing I can do about them not existing in my city.

No one claimed they made the best text mex. But what you fail to see if it was so horrible, it would have been out of bussiness by now.
No they definitely have something going for them. But I have to say since I've been in SA I've often had a craving for Chipotle or Carl's Jr or Whataburger or Cold Stone Creamery or Papa John's Pizza or Starbucks, but never for Taco Bell.

So you never did the 2 am drunk off your ads taco bell run?

You make it sound so appetising. I also don't have cravings for a British kebab though
Never heard of that.

Trust me, drunk and a burrito goes well together washed down with mt dew.

I miss things like papa John's, Sabbaro, arbys, big boys, Dennys, cracker barrel, little ceasers,

I'll blow someone for a proper biscuits and gravy.

I sometimes make proper buttermilk biscuits and sausage gravy, southern style. It's pretty easy to do. I'll pass on your tempting offer though

Agreed
Anyway what is served in the US is not Mexican it's Tex-mex and in AZ and NM it's southwest cooking using green chilies
Tex- mex is generally all food outside of Mexico as True Mexican food is regional and nothing like stereotyped "Mexican food"
